Unlike most production cruising/charter catamarans where the focus is cabins and heads, the Corsair 50 designers have worked with experienced cruisers to develop a layout for private owners focused on live aboard, long-range cruising and entertaining.
Every aspect of the Corsair 50 has been developed to enhance your cruising experience.
The galley features an island counter opening a traffic flow and increasing storage. Spacious Corian countertops, a full height pull-out pantry, numerous storage areas, 220-litre fridge and 160 litre freezer. The galley combines with the cockpit through a large sliding window creating an open feel to the boat. There is a forward facing navigation station with 360-degree views offering protected watches. Curved glass windows with solar treatment offer frameless vision from the salon. The treated, laminated glass also reduces UV and heat into the vessel, and will resist the crazing and scratching seen in the plastics used by most production manufactures.
The spacious owner’s hull separates you from your guests. Forward is a large private head with separate stall shower and storage. There are also full height hanging lockers, ample drawers and shelving in passageway, and a vanity with mirror forward of the berth. The owner’s cabin features a low, open-ended berth - No climbing up to the bridge deck or over partners.
Guest cabin aft has split berths that combine to make a king size berth. The forward cabin has double berth with shared bathroom between. |
