Yesterday, 11 September 2009, Helmsman, Frank Coale flew the spinnaker on his new Corsair 50 Catamaran, the Mango Moon, for the first time.
The wind was slight but the impact was massive.
The Saigon River is very much a working river and is no stranger to all sorts of ships, junks and other vessels that float.
However, to see a catamaran... and to see it flying a bright, colourful and massive 232sqm (2,500sq ft) spinnaker, well - not normally a betting man - Frank is probably betting that it's a first for the Saigon River!
