Corsair 50 seen in water yesterday

Yesterday, 20 August 2009, the Corsair 50 had its first taste of the water in the Saigon River.

Corsair Marine's designers and engineers are a conservative bunch but, after the Corsair' 50's short inaugural trip yesterday, a couple of them unwittingly let a smile escape.

There is still a considerable amount of work and testing to be done before the Corsair 50 is officially handed over to the new owners who will sail her around the world for the next 3-5years. But, the preliminary indications seem to justify the cautious optimism surrounding this exciting project.
